There are 3 distinct types of top-of-head hair systems for men, identified by the base material used.
Choices are;
- Fine Mono Mesh
- Poly Skin Graft
- French or Swiss Lace
In addition to the base material, you can also choose a perimeter and frontal material.

Factors such as desired durability, hair density and attachment preference will determine which base options are best for you.
The hair density will dictate which materials should be used. Generally, the more dense the hair, the more durable the material needs to be. For example, for densities ranging from Light thru Medium, all three base materials could be chosen. However, for densities like Medium/Heavy thru Extra Heavy, a more durable Fine Mono with a Glass Silk perimeter should be used.
